You’re about to read a shoddy review about a purposefully shoddy film.
I recently watched the movie V/H/S, a horror film with somewhat of a main storyline and 5 other shorts. A group of men are hired to break in to a house to steal a tape, and there they find a series of other vhs tapes with gruesome happenings recorded on them. Overall i would rate this movie a 7/10. The movie as whole was horrendous. The transitions were sloppy. The opening, the entire first short, and the story line ending were completely unnecessary. However, the other shorts (although wicked, and sickening at times) were brilliantly done with lots of twists, that I honestly didn’t see coming. After every one, all I could bring myself to say was “what the hell happened.” The film left you with A LOT of questions, but oddly enough, i was okay with that.
